Sick of it all.

okay, we're back on this subject again. when did honesty become optional? what is wrong, when you have to secretly question everything a person tells you? i don't know. i'm just tired of the betrayals, tired of the backstabbing and lies, and tired of all the idiotic barbs people try to trade over the internet. here's the thing - no one can hurt you if you won't allow it. once you refuse to let the pathetic attempts at insults get to you, you start to see how very sad the person at the other end really is. i'm far from perfect, i'll admit that readily. i've thrown a few stones, but those days are few and far, and hardly likely to come again. i always assume that everyone i meet is kind, honest, a generally decent human being, and i'm so disappointed when i realize i'm wrong. but luckily for me, i have some close friends whom i trust completely, and they make all the failures worth it. i could say more, but...i'm done.
