Monday, Monday...
There's some Mama's and Papa's song about that. I can't remember any of the words to it right now. So.
Tomorrow, I get two days off in a row. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to them. Sitting around on my ass is going to be such a treat. (Note: Actual sitting may not occur.) It's not as though I'm unaccustomed to working - There've been times when I've worked 3 jobs at once - but it hasn't been easy getting back into the full time rythym, especially when my weekends evaporated. My whole perception of the week has been altered. Normally, I wouldn't even be posting right now, I'd be midway to carting my hubby to work and heading in myself, but Kris is upstairs sleeping and trying not to come down with the 24 hour bug Brodie had the night before last. My poor baby was up all night, tossing his cookies. Thankfully, he's totally recovered now, but Kris would have to go and catch it. ~Scowls~ I refuse to be sick. They can keep their germs. Library still hasn't made a decision about the job. I called two or three days ago, and they're still making up their minds. I suppose I could still get the call and get the job, but it's taking so long that I'vehonestly sort of forgotten about it as a possibility. Maybe they'll want to go with someone else, but the others will all have found jobs by now, and they'll offer it to me anyway... ~Gets all starry-eyed~ I'll still dumb Godiva in a heartbeat for the books. If I did though - sigh - it would be hard to part with certain perks, namely free chocolate-covered strawberries which I hand dip every day... I work with a few interesting people, too, but I wouldn't miss any of them. Except Janel. She rocks. We're the newest people, so whenever everyone else steps out of the store, we huddle and talk smack about our other co-workers. Okay, not really... but we would! Maybe in the next few days, I'll have something with a little more substance to put in here, but for now, I gotta go and this is what you get. ~Mwa~ Love you guys. Hope you're all behaving like the upstanding citizens I know you are.
