Friday Five
1. What was your first Halloween costume? The first one I can remember is a black cat costume that my mom made for me. It was pretty cool, actually. It's probably still hanging in some family member's closet. It got passed around after i grew out of it.
2. What was your best costume and why? I think my homicidal cheerleader, complete with copious amounts of fake blood was the best. But I could be wrong. I was a punk roxker in elementary school for two years in a row, cause i liked the costume so much.
3. Did you ever play a trick on someone who didn't give you a treat? Nope. Just went away sad.
4. Do you have any Halloween traditions? (ie: Family pumpkin carving, special dinner before trick or treating, etc.) Gotta watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Other than that, it's just the usual... decorating, craving pumpkins, that sort of thing.
5. Share your favorite scary story...real or legend! Well... There were these books of scary stories that I read when I was a kid... I don't know what they were called or who wrote them, but the illustrations themselves were scary. They were for kids, but the art was all... how do I explain? Stringy? And gristly and gorey looking? Scary stuff, those books.
Happy Halloween, everyone. May your bags overflow with candy.
