Well, that's that.

Lycos is gone for good. It happened Monday night, around midnight e.s.t, as near as I can tell. by the time I came home it was already over, and i feel a little bad avout that, but i'd already said my goodbyes. I guess Verasia is gone now too, and that's a shame. It wasn't for me, but i know a lot of people who really enjoyed roleplaying there. Predictably, since lycos is now gone, QChat and Proboards are having problems. At least chatspace is there as a back up until QChat is sorted out... as for Proboards, perhaps it's a sign that version 4 is on it's way. I'd be so happy... been waiting for that forever, it seems.

On a personal note, my Dad is due to come visit next weekend, and i'm beside myself, I'm so happy. I haven't seem him in about ... oh, 3 years I think. Since then he's had a heart attack scare, been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and so has quit smoking and lost a lot of weight. I want to see for myself how he looks. I want him to still be healthy... (Btw, I quit smoking too. It's been over 2 months now. Yay for me!) I'm trying my best to be healthy too. I've been exercising for the last month, and I'm not exactly seeing the results i want just yet. I need to walk on the treadmill more... ugh. It's hard, keeping Brodie occupied while I exercise. As I type, my arms are aching... either from me lifting weights - ~Flexes~ - or because I slept funny last night. I'm thinking it's the way I slept.

Valentine's Day is fast approaching. I'm not doing anything. It's just another day... what about you? Big romantic plans? Tell me so i can be jealous that you have a life.
