I'm just a shot away from you...
My body went and revolted on me yesterday. Dizziness and nausea, which I shook after trying to take a nap - and being woken up within the first 10 minutes, which made me cranky despite the good intentions - which then led into the worst case of cramps I've had in ages. Arrgh. Today's a new day though, and I have trusty Ibuprofen 800. That's milligrams.
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out. I'm sure you've heard it. Good song.
Still waiting to hear about that damn job. I'm not worried, but I am frustrated. Game companies will leave decisions like this (Ones that aren't immediately vital to development of current projects) unmade until the last possible second. That's fine, I can wait... but I don't wanna! I'm so eager to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and move on to the next. Worst case scenario, I don't get this job and I shoot for another, but bottom line is that what I've got now is no longer good enough. I'm kind of happy about that. Funny, huh? Also, I have to help pay for family's huge entertainment weakness. Don't make me tell you how many gadgets we've got in our house right now, and how many more we plan to get. You'll feel ill.
Oh!!! This was my awesome achievement for the week. Bought a router, signed up for broadband with my cable company - sussed it all out by myself. Except for that 3 hour issues with my modem, which happened to still think it belonged to one mister Todd Wildernauer instead of yours truly. But once that was set straight, I hooked up the PC and the PS2, and now I'm free to be online, talk on the phone, or do both while the hubby plays Final Fantasy Online. I was getting really annoyed, being cut off like that with him tying up the phone line. But all is better now, thanks to me! Take that, people who thought I couldn't do it! Next on the agenda is buying and installing new hard drive, as my pc is in dire need of some free space, and a new burner as we lost the power cord for the other and can now only use it as a coaster.
