OMFG.

So unhappy right now.

So my car, one of the wheels has been feeling wobbly and weird and the brake is skipping for over a month now. It keeps me from going home for Christmas. I try to get it fixed at Midas - they do the alignment, balance the tires, and tell me the rim is bent and I need a new one. Fine, I do it. I pick the car up and the problem is still there. I go back in to Midas the mext morning, and they tell me they think it may be the struts, but it's a guess as they can't get inside them to look. I am unsatisfied with this explanation, and I take my car to a dealership. One tune-up later, my brakes are fabulous, the car runs great, and I'm told that the new rim is bent, and they suggest going back to where it came from and getting it replaced. The dealership rotated my tires, and the wobble has now moved to where this tire is now. It has me feeling like the wheel's just gonna come off... it's either the rim, or barring that, the tire itself. I try to take my car in this morning, but apparently - and it would have been nice had I known this BEFOREHAND - I needed to be in at 8 am and no later. Thanks for the fucking tip, Midas! Jesus. So I'll be doing this again tomorrow, it's really inconvenient, and I'm pissed as I have to shuffle my whole schedule around just to make this work and I want to stop spending humdreds and hundreds of dollars trying to fix a fucking wobble that mechanics can't seem to fucking figure out.
