Oh, you cut me to the quick, mystery person. However shall I go on?

So! Work is something of a disaster while expanding and remodeling goes on. Luke, you'll hardly recognize it when you come back around Christmas. Huge holes in the walls, paint fumes, boxes piled everywhere... it's been hectic for the poor general manager. I feel for him, and we're only at the halfway point. He deserves at least a full week off once this is all over.
Halloween is days away. It's my turn to stay home and hand out candy this year, while my son goes out with his father. I cannot bear the thought of kids walking away from our door disappointed, so one of us always stays home, ready to dole out treats. I have no idea how many kids to expect, however - it's not the same as when I was trick-or-treating. Kids start earlier, stop earlier, and it seems like a lot of people just don't get into the spirit of the holiday. I think I bought too much candy... I think I'm going to have a lot left over. This isn't too bad, really. I also insist on only buying candy that we will eat if we don't hand it all out. I will have enough candy to carry me through January. Skittles, yeah.
Anyone watching Heroes? I love Hiro. Waffles, woohoo! So adorable. Heroes and House are the two best reasons to own a television, hands down. Also, Dexter on Showtime. Way to be creepy, guy from Six Feet Under. Kudos.
